Born in Mexico City in 1938, Alfredo Castaneda received a degree in architecture from the University of Mexico and in 1969 he had his first one-man show at the Galeria de Arte Mexicano. His surrealist imagery intrigues viewers and his works are included in museums in Mexico, Latin America, the United States, Europe, and Japan.
